As well as strong senior and junior men’s teams, Plumtree is one of only a few clubs in the Nottinghamshire area that has active women’s and girl’s sections.
The ladies section of Plumtree was set up in 2007 by Kevin Pickaver, Rosemary Dove, Susan Cuttell and Kelly Sladen. It continues to grow in size and ability. We welcome players of all ages and abilities to come and join the ladies section of the club.
In the summer we play in Division 1 East of the Women’s Midlands League as well as competing in the regular friendly T20 and 40 overs matches both mid-week and at weekends. These friendly matches have a strong focus on bringing juniors and new players into ladies league cricket.
In the summer training is held from 6-8pm at the Plumtree cricket ground. During the winter we have weekly training at a local school and we play in an women’s only indoor league on Tuesdays.
For the 2018 season we have level 3 coach Jim Hindson working with us. Additionally 5 of the current women’s squad all hold ECB Level 1 coaching qualifications, two have level 2 and two of us hold ECB ACO level 1 umpire qualifications.
If you are interested in joining the ladies section then please get in contact with us either via this web-site, email firstname.lastname@example.org or contact ladies manager Kelly Sladen on 07536074464.
You can keep up to date with all the latest news, photos and match results on our ladies website www.plumtreeladiescc.weebly.com

Girl’s training for ages 12-15 years is on Monday evenings during the summer. Girls under the age of 12 are encouraged to come to the colts training on a Friday evening. During the winter the girls train at a local school with the ladies section.
